InkTap is a curated marketplace designed to bridge the gap between independent digital art and physical home decor. The platform allows users to discover handpicked posters from global artists, offering a seamless end-to-end experience from custom framing and sizing to flexible fulfillment via home delivery or in-store pickup.
There is a significant disconnect between digital art discovery and physical home decor. Independent artists lack a streamlined platform to monetize their work, while consumers face a fragmented, high-friction process for sourcing, high-quality printing, and custom framing. inkTap bridges this gap by offering a unified "gallery-to-doorstep" mobile experience.

I adopted a minimalist, content-first approach to ensure the artwork remains the primary focal point, reducing cognitive load by stripping away non-essential interface elements. The UX strategy centered on optimizing proven e-commerce patterns to meet the high aesthetic expectations of our design-conscious user base, creating a sophisticated yet intuitive shopping experience.

The application was built exclusively for iOS, adhering to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) to ensure a seamless, native user experience.
For Dark Mode, the color palette was re-engineered for visual comfort. This involved implementing a desaturated color scheme to maintain contrast ratios and applying a subtle dimming effect to imagery to prevent eye strain in low-light environments.

I transformed the fragmented process of sourcing and framing art into a streamlined, iOS native marketplace that connects independent artists with design-conscious consumers. The final product is a minimalist mobile experience that bridges the gap between digital discovery and physical delivery through automated custom framing and flexible fulfillment options.
